2. Key Ingredients & Components
-
Zinc Oxide (15.25% w/w): High-concentration mineral active that forms a physical barrier against moisture, shrinks damaged tissue (astringent action), and accelerates epidermal cell growth and micro-wound closure.
-
Benzyl Benzoate (0.39% w/w) & Benzyl Cinnamate (0.15% w/w): Antimicrobial and antiseptic esters derived from Balsam of Peru that inhibit bacterial and fungal proliferation on skin folds and broken skin.
-
Benzyl Alcohol (0.15% w/w): Mild local anesthetic active that numbs localized surface pain, reduces stinging sensations, and exerts potent disinfectant properties.
-
Anhydrous Hypoallergenic Lanolin (4.00% w/w): Biomimetic emollient lipid that deeply softens dry or cracked stratum corneum without triggering allergic sensitivity.
3. How to Use
-
Prep: Ensure hands are clean before application. Cleanse and dry the affected area gently (e.g., baby’s bottom, minor wound, or breakout zone).
-
Dispense: Scoop a small, pea-sized amount onto clean fingertips. (A little goes a very long way).
-
Apply: Massage gently using small circular movements until the cream forms a thin, translucent protective sheen. If skin appears bright white, too much product has been applied.
-
Frequency: Apply as often as needed, particularly at every nappy change for infants, or directly onto skin blemishes/chapped areas as required.
